The documents come to you, not to us
Suppliers answer their buyers, not strangers. With the order you get a short document request in English and Chinese to send to your supplier: a photo of the business licence, the certificates it claims, its bank account on company letterhead and one or two export declarations with buyer details removed. Forward the replies within 30 days; we check each document against the register and the certificate databases, including that the bank account holder and the exporter carry the company's legal name, within 2 business days. A supplier that refuses its own buyer is a finding in the report.
One call, one round of negotiation
We call the supplier in Chinese, negotiate price, MOQ and terms once on your instructions, and get the price, Incoterm, payment terms and lead time confirmed in writing. The proforma invoice fields CBSA needs (description, HS code, value, origin) are checked before you pay. The report ends with go and no-go points before your deposit: pay only into the company account that matches the register.
Searches by person are partial: the Chinese commercial databases that list every company run by the legal representative are closed to users outside China. The switchboard call takes place during the Chinese working day; when the receptionist declines, the report records it.
- All work is done from Canada, by message, phone and video. We do not visit factories.
- Third-party inspections are booked at the inspector's published rate, paid by you at cost.
- You pay your supplier directly. We never hold your money.
- Every fact in a report cites the official page it came from, with a screenshot. When a Chinese register blocks connections from outside China, the report names the source used instead.
- Sanctions and forced-labour screening are not included.
