Check a Chinese business licence number

Enter the 18-character unified social credit code from your supplier's business licence. The check runs in your browser; nothing is sent.

This tool checks only that the code is correctly formed and where it was issued. It does not prove that the company exists, is operating, or is the one you are dealing with. The C$79 supplier check verifies that.

A valid code proves the format, not the company

The 18th character is computed from the first 17 under China's national standard, so a single mistyped character fails the check. A forger can compute it too. The next step is the register: the company name, legal representative and status there must match your contract, your invoice and the bank account you pay.
